Living Space Transformation

A non-load bearing wall between the living room and dining room was removed to give the space a open fresh feeling. A load bearing wall between the kitchen and living room was replaced by pocketing two 23 ft. long by 18 in. wide LVL’s (Laminated Veneer Lumber) in the ceiling.

Open Feel

The open feel was extended by building a half wall to create a functional island with an overhang counter. Family members can now enjoy meals at the island while engaging with others in the living room. The final result was a beautiful larger space that allows everyone to enjoy a functional kitchen, an eating space and the living room together in one general location
